It is getting detected by Windows and is showing in My Computer window as F: but when I open Seagate Dashboard it does not detect the external hard drive and shows the message "Connect a Seagate Dashboard- enhanced drive to activate features" even when the external hard drive is directly plugged into the Laptop. I have bought a new Seagate Backup Plus Slim 1 TB external hard drive few days back.
